Seva Jyoti Sankalp Project Includes Telibandha Chowk, Not Renaming

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai clarified that there is no plan to rename Telibandha Chowk, a landmark in Raipur that often features in public discussions. The area will retain its original name while being upgraded under the "Seva Jyoti Sankalp" scheme.

The government has identified 38 sites across the state for transformation, aiming to boost civic amenities, promote cleanliness, and foster a sense of community ownership. Telibandha Chowk is one of these priority locations.

Sai highlighted that the initiative coincides with the 25‑year milestone of the Prime Minister's public‑service journey, prompting a series of "Seva Sankalp" activities throughout the nation, including several in Chhattisgarh.

During the upcoming "Seva Setu" ceremony in Durg, the chief minister will inaugurate the 32nd distribution of the Mahatari Vandan scheme and announce additional development projects slated for the district.
