Sai Highlights Welfare Initiatives Amid Political Challenge

Facing political pressure, CM Vishnu Deo Sai outlined a series of welfare initiatives that target every section of society. He spoke about the "Lakshmi Didi" award that has recognized over 1.04 million women, reduced registration and stamp duties to boost property ownership, and renewed self‑help groups to create employment. In agriculture, the government introduced record‑high paddy procurement, zero‑interest farm loans, and expanded irrigation capacity. Tribal development projects such as the Delhi‑based Tribal Youth Hostel, the expansion of the Tribal Games, and the construction of roads, electricity and drinking water in thousands of villages were also highlighted.
