From IIM to Tribal Museum: Rural scholars get a glimpse of top institutions

The educational tour organised for the Ambikapur students included visits to several premier institutions. The group toured the Indian Institute of Management Raipur, the Triple IT (Indian Institute of Information Technology), the Tribal Museum and the Chhattisgarh State Youth Commission office, among others. While at IIM, the students observed management classrooms, interacted with faculty and learned about admission procedures. At Triple IT they explored cutting‑edge technology labs. The Tribal Museum offered a cultural perspective on the state’s heritage, and the Youth Commission briefed them on government schemes for young people. The exposure broadened the youngsters’ horizons, sparking curiosity about diverse career possibilities beyond the conventional paths.
