Chhattisgarh has been chosen along with one other state, and a high‑level delegation will travel to Singapore from 3 to 6 October. The Chief Minister will showcase Chhattisgarh’s industrial potential to global investors and engage directly with leading companies at the CEO round‑table. Special focus will be on investment in employment‑generating sectors such as electronics, automotive, IT‑ITeS, GCC and pharmaceuticals. Raipur, Chhattisgarh is set to present its industrial progress and investment opportunities on an international platform. The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India selected Chhattisgarh and Haryana for the Singapore‑India Network for Growth (SING) Forum 2026. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, a high‑level Chhattisgarh delegation will be in Singapore from 3‑6 October 2026 and will represent the state at the SING Forum 2026. Participation in this important international forum will give the state a chance to present its achievements, industrial development and broad investment potential to global investors. It will also be a major step towards establishing long‑term economic ties with Singapore’s business community, entrepreneurs, investment institutions and global companies. The first edition of the SING Forum 2026 is being organised by the Singapore Business Federation. Senior government representatives of Singapore and India, industry leaders and investors will gather on one platform. The aim is to strengthen economic partnership between the two countries and develop new opportunities for trade, investment and future collaboration. CEO round‑table direct dialogue Global companies will be part of the discussion. During the Singapore visit, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai will also join the CEO round‑table, interacting directly with CEOs and senior officials of major Singaporean companies, investment institutions and global business groups. He will brief them on Chhattisgarh’s new industrial development policy, investor facilitation measures, one‑click single‑window system and the business‑friendly environment for setting up and operating industries. He will invite global investors to participate in Chhattisgarh’s development vision. In the forum, the Chief Minister will present the state’s achievements and investment prospects, highlighting opportunities in sectors that create jobs. This will give the state direct access to major companies and institutions making investment decisions worldwide, including Southeast Asia. Investment focus will be on electronics to pharma. Delegation meetings will concentrate on attracting investment in electronics, automotive, IT and ITeS, Global Capability Centre (GCC) and pharmaceuticals, sectors capable of large‑scale investment, technology‑driven industrial growth and extensive employment for youth. Skill development and green development partnership The delegation will also meet representatives of the Institute of Technical Education, Mandai Wildlife Reserve and Gardens by the Bay. Discussions will cover collaboration in skill development, wildlife conservation, horticulture and green development. Singapore’s experience and expertise can help Chhattisgarh build a skilled workforce, protect natural heritage and promote sustainable and green development. Global partnership will open new avenues for investment and employment, said Chief Minister Shri Sai. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai stated that this trip is a vital opportunity to connect Chhattisgarh with major global partners. Selection of Chhattisgarh for the SING Forum by the Ministry of External Affairs is a matter of pride for the people of the state. He said the Singapore visit will aim to attract investment, create new job opportunities for youth and open new pathways for development by linking with global expertise and innovation. Accompanying the Chief Minister in the state delegation are Principal Secretary Shri Vikas Sheel, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Shri Subodh Singh, Secretary of Commerce and Industry Shri Rajat Kumar, Managing Director of CSIDC Shri Vishwa​sh Kumar and Special Officer (OSD) Shri Umesh Agarwal.
