Review of Chhattisgarh State Festival 2026 Preparations From 1 to 3 November the state festival will be organized, with instructions to complete preparations within the timeline. Raipur, on the occasion of Chhattisgarh State Formation Day, a state-level review meeting was held today at the Ministry Mahakali Bhavan under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Shri Vikasheel regarding the preparations for the Chhattisgarh State Festival 2026 to be held from 1 to 3 November. The meeting reviewed the preparations for the festival and the state decoration ceremony. The Chief Secretary directed all departments to complete preparations within the timeline and to prepare a work plan for the departmental exhibition. He asked to provide departmental preparation and exhibition details by 22 October. He emphasized holding the festival in a centrally themed format, with topics such as Ease of Doing Business, Human Capital Development, Developed India, Anjor Chhattisgarh, focusing on future direction and development. During the festival, various departments will present 40 state-level decorations and awards. Instructions were given to complete the award selection process as per the scheduled timeline. The Culture Department has been made the nodal department. The state-level event is proposed at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Industry and Trade Complex (fairground) Nawa Raipur Atal Nagar, Gram-Tuta. Key responsibilities given to departments: CSIDC, NRDA, Public Works Department have been given responsibility for fairground layout, stall arrangement, development exhibition, main stage, dome, pavilion, meeting and catering. Public Relations Department and CHIPS will handle promotion and high‑tech media centre. Raipur Municipal Corporation and NRDA will arrange civic facilities, city bus, drinking water and sanitation. District administration and Police Department will ensure security, traffic, parking and fire‑fighting arrangements. Health and Energy Department will arrange medical services, ambulances and uninterrupted power supply. In the meeting, the Additional Chief Secretary of Forest and Climate Change Department Shri Manoj Kumar Pingua, Principal Secretary of Panchayat, Home and Jail Department Mrs. Niharika Barik Singh, Principal Secretary of Urban Administration Development Department Shri Sonamani Bora, Principal Secretary of Women and Child Development Department Mrs. Shahla Nigar, Secretary of Chief Minister and Public Works Department Shri Mukesh Kumar, Secretary of School Education Department Dr. Kamalprit Singh, Secretary of General Administration Department Shri Avinash Champawat, Secretary of Co‑operation Department Dr. C.R. Prasanna, Secretary of Tourism and Culture Department Dr. S. Bhartidasan, Secretary of Skill Development and Technical Education Department Shri Basvaraju S., Secretary of Information Technology Department Shri Ankit Anand, Secretary of Sports and Youth Welfare Department Shri Yashwant Kumar, Secretary of Tribal Development Department Shri Bhuvnesh Yadav, Secretary of Labour Department Shri Himashikhar Gupta, Secretary of Rural Industries Department Shri Rajesh Singh Rana, Secretary of Energy Department Shri Saransh Mittar, the Commissioner and Collector of Raipur district and senior officials were present.
