Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai issued a clear directive to district authorities, stressing that any form of laxity in flood‑relief work will not be tolerated. The order calls for immediate deployment of rescue teams, swift evacuation of stranded residents, and rapid distribution of essential commodities.

All rescue squads are instructed to operate with heightened vigilance, focusing on high‑risk zones where water levels remain critical. Simultaneously, the administration is working to restore electricity, sanitation and communication services to neighborhoods cut off by floodwaters.

The chief minister emphasized that the state remains fully committed to protecting its citizens, and any obstacles to relief operations will be addressed instantly through the mobilisation of extra resources and expert assistance.
