In Raipur, Dhamtari district, continuous rain and waterlogging have led the district administration to prioritize relief and rescue operations in flood-affected areas. The district administration, police, SDRF and local villagers are coordinated in continuously rescuing people trapped in the crisis. In the Kurud area, nine people trapped in floodwaters at Lomsh Rishi Ashram were safely rescued with the help of police administration and local villagers. Upon receiving information, the district administration and police team reached the site, assessed the situation and, with local people's cooperation, conducted a rescue operation to bring all nine people to safety. The district administration continues to monitor flood-affected areas. Relief teams, police and SDRF units are deployed at sensitive locations. Better arrangements in the Saloni relief camp, with revenue officials serving and dedicating work. In the Saloni flood relief camp, cleanliness, hygiene and food arrangements have been satisfactory and organized. The chief executive officer of the district panchayat, Mr. Jayant Nahata, is continuously inspecting flood-affected areas. In the relief camp, regular meals are provided with morning breakfast for affected families.
