Random Raids in Sensitive Areas Lead to Vehicle Confiscation and Penalties

The Mineral Department’s rapid response team, known locally as the ‘Udan Dastak’, maintains constant surveillance over illegal sand movement. Sudden inspections were launched in the identified hotspots of Achhota, Koliari, Amehti and Parsuli. During these checks, five trucks lacking proper documentation were seized on the spot.

The seized vehicles are now subject to legal action, and the owners face fines determined under the relevant mining statutes.
