In a move to honor family bonds during Raksha Bandhan, the Central Jail in Raipur will host a dedicated seven‑hour meeting slot on August 28, 2026. Sisters can meet their incarcerated brothers from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., after presenting government‑issued identification and undergoing a thorough three‑level inspection by female prison staff. The policy limits the number of sisters per inmate to three and restricts the amount of sweets to 100 grams per prisoner.
