Rajim's Long-Standing Demand Fulfilled, Becomes Municipality

The state government has fulfilled the long-standing demand of Rajim residents by upgrading Rajim Nagar Panchayat to a municipality. The Urban Administration and Development Department has issued a notification in this regard. The boundaries of Rajim Nagar Panchayat will be the boundaries of Rajim Municipality. The state government's decision has created an atmosphere of happiness and enthusiasm throughout the city.

Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Administration and Development Minister, Shri Arun Sao, on the upgrade of Rajim Nagar Panchayat to a municipality, stated that this decision by the state government will provide a new direction for the planned development of Rajim and make more resources available for the expansion of urban facilities. This will further accelerate the development of various basic facilities in Rajim, including roads, drains, drinking water, sanitation, street lights, parks, and community buildings. Additionally, the benefits of state and central government schemes will reach the city residents more effectively.
