Raipur Police Solve Murder in 24 Hours, Arrest Suspect

Within 24 hours of discovering a young woman’s body behind a temple in the WRs colony, Raipur’s Khamtarai police station and the Anti‑Crime and Cyber Unit identified and detained the alleged killer. The victim, identified as Nandini Jain, was found with bruises and pressure marks on her neck. Technical analysis of her phone and the crime scene pointed to her former Instagram friend, Karan Tandi. After a rigorous interrogation, the suspect confessed to the murder, describing how he first forced a scarf into her mouth, strangled her, and then ensured her death by submerging her head in a field of water.
