Raipur Police Connect Daughter with Long‑Lost Sister via Video Call

Understanding the sensitivity of the case, DCP Tarke Shwar Patel personally supervised the investigation. Police records showed that Jamuna Datt and her younger daughter had moved from Gudiari to Mumbai several years ago. After tracing their Mumbai address, the Raipur team facilitated a video call between Sunita and her sister. The call marked the first time in 42 years that Sunita heard her sister’s voice and saw her face. The emotional exchange provided Sunita with a new family anchor despite the loss of her mother.
