Finance Minister Shri Choudhary allocated land for the construction of a community building and boundary wall in a government school at Ward No. 28 Panjri Plant at a cost of 33 lakh rupees. Similarly, a shed costing 8 lakh rupees was inaugurated at Ward No. 9 Navagadhi. These development works will provide better infrastructure for community activities, education and other essential facilities to local citizens. Choudhary said that the state government is working in a planned manner across various sectors for the overall development of Raigarh. The aim of development is not only to undertake large construction projects but to develop facilities that bring positive changes to the lives of ordinary citizens. Minister Choudhary said that in the coming years work will be done to develop ten oxygen zones in Raigarh city. This will expand green areas in the city and help provide citizens with a clean and healthy environment. Emphasis was also placed on developing health, exercise and recreation facilities at public places along with the oxygen zones. The Ring Road will strengthen the city’s infrastructure Finance Minister Shri Choudhary said that considering the growing needs of Raigarh and traffic pressure, large projects are being fast‑tracked to strengthen the city’s infrastructure. He informed that work is underway for the construction of a Ring Road at an estimated cost of about 600 crore rupees. The Ring Road is expected to improve city traffic and also accelerate future infrastructure development. Shri Choudhary said that the Nalanda Campus is being constructed in Raigarh, which will provide students with a better environment and facilities for study and preparation for competitive examinations. In addition, work is underway to open a nursing college and a physiotherapy college in the district. The Finance Minister said that the Prayash School in Raigarh is already operating and that in the coming time institutional facilities in education, health and other sectors will be expanded so that district residents do not have to depend on other cities for high‑quality facilities. Oxygen zones and an open gym as a gift at Panjri Plant During the program organized at Panjri Plant, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary announced important gifts related to environment and health for the locals. He announced the development of an oxygen zone and the establishment of an open gym near the consumer forum. This will provide residents with green surroundings as well as exercise and health‑related facilities. On this occasion, Minister Choudhary also planted trees under the ‘One Tree in Mother’s Name’ campaign, delivering a message of environmental protection. He appealed to citizens to plant as many trees as possible and take regular care of them, stating that public participation is crucial in building a green Raigarh. Present at the event were Mayor Shri Jivardhan Chauhan, Chairman Shri Degree Lal Sahu, Shri Suresh Goyal, Shri Pawan Aggarwal, Shri Ashish Tamarkar along with councilors, local representatives, officials, distinguished citizens and a large number of area residents.
