Prime Minister Housing 2.0 Land Tax Force meeting concluded. Ensure that eligible homeless families get a solid house. Raipur, July 08 2026 – The meeting of the Prime Minister Housing 2.0 Land Tax Force was held today at the Ministry’s Mahansadi Building under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Mr. Vikasashil. The Chief Secretary gave officials directions to survey and demarcate land for residential projects under the Prime Minister Housing Scheme 2.0 in urban and rural areas. He instructed all district collectors to identify beneficiaries for Prime Minister Housing 2.0 and take necessary action. He directed them to locate eligible beneficiaries residing on the land, verify them and take appropriate action to provide housing. The Chief Secretary asked collectors to assess current and future housing needs of urban bodies and prepare action plans so that housing can be provided to beneficiaries on time. Similarly, he directed formulation of comprehensive work plans for identifying beneficiaries in rural areas under the scheme and constructing houses as needed. The meeting was attended by Secretary of Urban and Administrative Development Department Mrs. R. Shangeeta, Secretary of Revenue and Disaster Management Department Mrs. Shammah Abidi, Secretary of Panchayat and Rural Development Department Mr. Bhim Singh, along with other senior officials of Panchayat and Rural Development and Urban Administration departments.
