Police Commissioner Shri Sanjeev Shukla visits hospital to check condition of injured police personnel

Police Commissioner Shri Sanjeev Shukla visited the hospital to check the condition of injured police personnel. During the rally, while on duty, 16 police personnel were injured, and the commissioner discussed the treatment details with doctors. Raipur, today a rally was being managed by the police force with barricading to maintain law and order and control the rally. During this, some people suddenly threw stones and bottles causing chaos, resulting in 16 police personnel on duty getting injured. Among the injured was a female constable, and two police personnel sustained serious injuries. Upon learning of the incident, Raipur Police Commissioner Shri Sanjeev Shukla went to the hospital, met the admitted police personnel and inquired about their condition. He took detailed information from doctors about the health and treatment of the injured and gave instructions for proper treatment of all the injured. He encouraged the personnel and wished them a speedy recovery. Injured constable Kalashwar Verma said that during barricading he got trapped in the crowd and faced difficulty breathing, after which he was rushed to the hospital. Meanwhile, trainee Sub Inspector (PSI) Shri Devaraj Singh sustained a serious head injury from a bottle, and his treatment is ongoing under doctors' supervision. Other injured constables were provided primary treatment and discharged from the hospital. During this, Police Additional Commissioner (Central) Shri Tarkeshwar Patel, ACP Shri Nilesh Dwivedi, TI Shri Rajesh Marai and other senior police officers were present.
