Interrogations of the arrested individuals revealed that the core command centre of the operation was located in Palava City, a suburb of Mumbai. From this base, the gang coordinated the rental of bank accounts and directed the transfer of illicit proceeds. The compromised accounts served dual purposes: they moved money obtained through cyber scams and acted as payment channels for online betting activities. By centralising control in Mumbai, the ring could efficiently manage transactions spread across different Indian regions while keeping the real perpetrators concealed.
