October Weather Outlook: Heavy Rains in North and South, Heat Persists in Capital

A detailed forecast from the IMD shows that the north‑western hills, including Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, could see rainfall on October 6‑7, while Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh face showers between October 2‑7, some with thunderstorms. In the south, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands are also under rain warnings. Delhi, by contrast, will remain hot and humid with minimum temperatures around 23‑24°C and a maximum near 35°C.
