First NMIMS Batch Expected Within Two Years as Lease Finalized

Following the completion of lease and registration paperwork, NMIMS officials have projected that the inaugural batch of students could commence studies as early as 2028. The timeline, outlined by the state’s Higher Education Department, foresees initial academic operations rolling out within 24‑30 months, even as campus construction proceeds in phases.

The early start is intended to give Chhattisgarh’s youth immediate access to nationally accredited management courses, while the full‑scale campus—once built—will host up to 10,000 learners across undergraduate, postgraduate and professional programmes. The rapid rollout aligns with the government’s broader objective to create a knowledge‑driven economy in the state.
