New tendered projects to start on Oct 15, says Deputy Chief Minister

Arun Saw ordered that all projects whose bidding process is complete and have received the necessary approvals be launched at full speed on 15 October. He emphasized that construction activities must cause minimal inconvenience to the public. Safety norms at worksites, diversion routes and clear signage were highlighted as non‑negotiable requirements. Performance‑guaranteed contracts were to be used for faster completion, ensuring quality, timeliness and a positive image for the department.
