During the Sushasan camp, officials sat on the ground in Mailasur Panchayat and had direct dialogue with the Sarpanch, Patel, Mukhiya and villagers, understood the ground reality of government schemes, and reiterated the commitment to complete ongoing works on time. On the demand of the villagers of Mailasur and Dantespuram, ponds were identified to promote fish farming and instructions were given to provide fish seeds to the villagers. To overcome the water crisis, a major approval was given for the construction of a new dam and pond in Dantespuram, and the Kreeda department was instructed to build a water tank. New handpumps and borewells were immediately approved to end the drinking water crisis in Mailasur and Bodrajpadar. Clear instructions were given to the PHE department that in villages where the work of the Jal Jeevan Mission is complete, water supply should be started immediately without delay. And where the work is not complete, it should be completed quickly to provide clean drinking water to the villagers. Collector Mr. Amit Kumar said that the construction of 'Sushasan Parisar' and basic facilities in remote and inaccessible villages is truly inspiring. The Collector said that our main objective is to bring the speed of development to these remote villages freed from the influence of Naxalism. All construction works related to schools, hospitals, roads, bridges and the Jal Jeevan Mission will be completed with full quality within the stipulated time before the rains, so that the direct benefits of government schemes reach every villager. Hearts and paths will be connected by roads, the pace of development will be fast. The inaccessible roads, which have been the biggest obstacle in the development of Bastar, are now going to get the strength of permanent roads. The Collector gave strict instructions to the departmental officers to immediately prepare a proposal under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) to connect Bodrajpadar, Mailasur, Dantespuram, Gachhanpalli and Burkalanka to the main roads and take necessary action. The under-construction ashram in Dabbakonta by the RES department was also inspected.
