Raipur, June 30, 2026/ Forest and Climate Change Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap today participated in the social building inauguration, felicitation ceremony, and annual convention of the Chhattisgarh Kandara Tribal Society held at Mahadev Ghat, Raipur. He inaugurated the newly constructed social building and honored the talented students and personalities of the society who achieved excellent accomplishments in education, sports, social service, and various other fields.
Education and Organization are the Biggest Strengths of Society
Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap said that the real strength of any society lies in its education, organization, and values. Today, the youth of the tribal society are demonstrating excellent performance with their talent in many fields including education, administration, technology, business, sports, and public representation. This is a positive indication of a new and developing Chhattisgarh. He said that today, tribal youth from remote areas are becoming an inspiration for society by becoming doctors, engineers, teachers, administrative officers, entrepreneurs, and public representatives.
Social Building will be a Center for Development and Guidance
Minister Shri Kashyap said that a social building is not just a building, but a center for societal unity, dialogue, values, and guidance for the new generation. Here, students will get better opportunities for preparing for competitive exams, cultural activities, social programs, and works related to the development of the society.
Tribal Society is Getting a Strong Foundation from Government Schemes
Shri Kashyap said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the state government is continuously working for the all-round development of the tribal society. The tribal society is being uplifted through schemes like the New Education Policy, scholarships, residential schools, skill development, forest rights, self-employment, better pricing for minor forest produce, and empowerment of women's self-help groups.
Call to Empower the Youth
Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap urged the elders of the society to pass on their rich traditions and culture to the new generation. He appealed to the youth to be motivated to advance in the fields of higher education, competitive exams, digital technology, and self-employment.
At the end of the program, Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap congratulated the society for the construction of the social building and expressed confidence that the Chhattisgarh Kandara Tribal Society will achieve new heights of development and progress based on an organized society, educated youth, and strong leadership.
On this occasion, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tribal Traditional Medicinal Plant Board Shri Vikas Markam, former Chairman of Scheduled Tribe Commission Shri Nandkumar Sai, President of Chhattisgarh Kandara Tribal Society Shri Virendra Kunjam, Smt. Anusuya Markam, Smt. Tulsi Markam, Shri Horilal Chedaiya, Shri Shantanu Markam, Shri Kamal Narayan Markam, and a large number of people from the Kandara Tribal Society were present.
