Naxalite Arms Dump Recovered in Joint Operation by Narayanpur Police and 58th Battalion BSF

Narayanpur, In order to maintain security and peace in the naxal-free areas of the district and to search for weapons, explosives, and other materials previously hidden by Naxalites, a joint search operation was being conducted by Narayanpur Police and the 58th Battalion of BSF in the Kohkmeta police station area. During the operation, an arms dump hidden by Naxalites was recovered in the forest of Kachhapal.

Recovered Materials:

.303 Rifle – 01 Unit .315 Rifle – 01 Unit Locally made Barrel Launcher – 01 Unit Live Cartridges of .303 Bore – 17 Units Live Cartridges of 7.62 mm – 10 Units 12 Bore Cartridges – 04 Units .303 Magazine (Empty) – 01 Unit Cartridge Filler – 02 Units .303 Tracer Rod – 03 Units

All recovered material has been duly seized and further legal action is being taken at Kohkmeta police station.

Narayanpur Police and security forces are continuously conducting intensive search operations in the naxal-free areas of the district. During the operation, weapons, explosives, and other materials previously hidden by Naxalites are being continuously recovered, so that any kind of illegal activities can be effectively curbed and peace, security, and law and order can be further strengthened in the region.
