Ministers to hoist flag in these districts on Independence Day

Ranchi. On the occasion of Independence Day celebrations 2026, honorable ministers will hoist the flag at various district headquarters of the state on August 15. Instructions have been issued in this regard by the Cabinet Secretariat and Vigilance Department (Coordination). As per the issued instructions, in Palamu (Daltonganj), Honorable Minister Shri Radha Krishna Kishore and Honorable Minister Shri Deepak Birua, in West Singhbhum (Chaibasa), Honorable Minister Shri Chamra Linda, in Gumla also Honorable Minister Shri Chamra Linda, in Godda, Honorable Minister Shri Sanjay Prasad Yadav, in Jamtara, Honorable Minister Shri Irfan Ansari, in Deoghar, Honorable Minister Shri Hafizul Hasan, in Pakur, Honorable Minister Smt. Deepika Pandey Singh, in Bokaro, Honorable Minister Shri Yogendra Prasad, in Giridih, Honorable Minister Shri Sudivya Kumar, and in Lohardaga, Honorable Minister Smt. Shilpi Neha Tirkey will hoist the flag. The Special Officer of the department has directed the Deputy Commissioners and Senior Superintendents of Police/Superintendents of Police of the concerned districts to establish coordination with the respective ministers and ensure necessary action for the successful organization of the program. The state government has especially emphasized on organizing the Independence Day celebrations in a dignified and well-organized manner.
