Raipur, February 21, 2026/Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated a blood donation camp organized at the Chief Minister’s residence premises in the capital Raipur on the occasion of his 62nd birthday. On this occasion, he performed puja of Lord Dhanwantari and honored and encouraged the blood donors. On the occasion of the Chief Minister’s 62nd birthday, Alpha Globe Foundation, Raipur and Shivnath Blood Center had made special arrangements for 62 people to donate blood.
Chief Minister Mr. Sai said on this occasion that blood donation is a great donation and it is true service to humanity. He said that when patients need blood during accidents, childbirth, and serious illnesses, blood donation instills new hope in the lives of patients. He said that certificates have also been provided to the blood donors in the camp, enabling them or their dependents to receive free blood if needed.
It is noteworthy that the organization has resolved to collect approximately 11 thousand units of blood in a year and will coordinate with various blood banks with the aim of providing free blood to the needy. A safe traffic awareness campaign was also organized on this occasion.
Chief Minister Mr. Sai appealed to the youth to donate blood at least once a year and to ensure life safety by always following road traffic rules. He expressed gratitude to all the blood donors, organizers, medical team, and health department and extended best wishes for the success of the camp.
On this occasion, Education Minister Mr. Gajendra Yadav, CGMSC Chairman Mr. Deepak Mhasake, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Chairman Mr. Neelu Sharma, along with Chief Minister’s Secretary Mr. Rahul Bhagat, Chief Minister’s Secretary Mr. P. Dayanand, Chief Minister’s Secretary Dr. Basavaraju S, senior officials, public representatives, and Alpha Globe Foundation, Raipur Director Dr. Poonam Agarwal, other representatives of the institution, and blood donors were present.
