Mann Ki Baat Message Echoes in Jaigur, Huge Crowd Gathers to Listen to the Prime Minister
Raipur, In Jaigur village of Gram Panchayat Darbha, located in the interior area of Bhairamgarh development block of Bijapur district, the 136th episode of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's popular program 'Mann Ki Baat' was collectively listened to on Sunday. A large number of villagers gathered to listen to the Prime Minister's message. The entire program saw an enthusiasm for patriotism, public participation, and development.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi began his address by paying tribute to the brave martyrs of the country on Kargil Vijay Diwas. Saluting the valor and sacrifice of Indian soldiers, he highlighted the importance of self-reliant India, indigenous defense production, public participation, and environmental protection. The Prime Minister called for making the 'One Tree in Mother's Name' campaign a mass movement. He also emphasized promoting innovation and scientific thinking among youth and their active participation in building a developed India. The Prime Minister also praised the water conservation work being done in Korba district of Chhattisgarh.
Villagers Get Land Rights Through Forest Rights Certificates
Forest and Environment Minister and Guardian Minister of Bijapur district, Shri Kedar Kashyap, described the Prime Minister's messages as inspiring for public welfare and nation-building. He said that it is the collective responsibility of all to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person in society. On this occasion, Minister Shri Kashyap distributed individual forest rights certificates to six beneficiaries. With the receipt of forest rights certificates, the beneficiaries have obtained legal rights over their land. He also honored and encouraged the students who achieved success in NEET-2026.
Launch of 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Campaign
Minister Shri Kashyap launched the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign by gifting tricolors to the villagers. He appealed to everyone to strengthen the feeling of respect and patriotism towards the national flag.
Plantation Under 'One Tree in Mother's Name' Campaign
Responding to the Prime Minister's call, Minister Shri Kashyap planted saplings under the 'One Tree in Mother's Name' campaign. He said that environmental protection is not just the government's responsibility, but the duty of every citizen. He appealed to the villagers to plant more and more saplings and take care of them.
Former Minister Shri Mahesh Gagda, District Panchayat President Smt. Jankhi Korsa, District Panchayat Member Shri Mathias Kujur, along with Presidents, Vice Presidents, and members of the District and Janpad Panchayats, public representatives, and a large number of villagers were present at the program. On this occasion, Collector Shri Vishwadeep, DFO Dr. Jadhav Sagar, Additional Superintendent of Police Shri Aman Kumar Jha, along with senior officials from the district police, forest department, and various departments, were present. The program concluded with a resolve for public participation, patriotism, environmental protection, and a developed India.
