Making road transport and traffic safe and smooth is our top priority: Chief Minister Shri Sai
*Chief Minister flagged off 48 vehicles included in the transport security fleet*

Raipur, June 17, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has said that our government is giving top priority to making road transport and traffic safe and smooth. The deployment of 48 new vehicles to the flying squad team engaged in transport and traffic safety will definitely reduce accidents, make traffic smoother and increase awareness among people about following traffic rules. Shri Sai was addressing a program organized at his residence office today. On this occasion, he handed over the keys of these vehicles to the inspectors of the Transport Department.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that the state government is working with commitment to make road traffic safe and smooth. With the help of new government vehicles, the Transport Flying Squad will ensure quick action against those who violate the rules. This initiative will prove to be a milestone in increasing the efficiency of the flying squad, reducing road accidents, better implementation of safety standards and improving and maintaining discipline in the traffic system. He said that this will also ensure monitoring and access of the transport squad in remote areas.
*Appeal to follow traffic rules*
Chief Minister Shri Sai spoke about using helmets and seat belts and following traffic rules to protect the lives of others. He said that only through public participation can we create a safe, disciplined and sensitive road environment. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also appealed to the people not to drive vehicles under the influence of alcohol.
On this occasion, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, Chairman of Civil Supplies Corporation Shri Sanjay Srivastava, Secretary cum Transport Commissioner Shri S. Prakash, Additional Transport Commissioner Shri D. Ravishankar and other officers and employees of the Transport Department were present.
