Latori CHC Staff Suspended Over Controversial Drinking and Eating Clip

Following the emergence of a video that allegedly captures a ward boy and a pharmacist consuming alcohol and meat inside the Latori Community Health Centre, Surajpur's health administration has taken decisive action. The Health Department, acting on the direction of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, issued immediate suspensions for the two employees.

The footage, which spread rapidly on social media on July 20, led to a swift preliminary inquiry. Findings pointed to Ward Boy Prem Kushwaha and Grade‑2 Pharmacist Rankit Jaiswal as the participants, resulting in their suspension pending final conclusions.

Officials stressed that this behavior contravenes the conduct rules for government employees and damages the esteem of public health institutions. The CMHO assured that the investigation continues and promised that any additional staff implicated will face appropriate disciplinary measures.
