Key Issues to Be Discussed at UCC Draft Meeting in Chhattisgarh

During the July 24 session the committee will deliberate on a range of personal law topics. Areas under review include marriage registration, divorce procedures, alimony, succession, ownership of assets and the legal status of adoption. The panel will also assess how the proposed code could affect various communities and gauge its compatibility with current statutes.
