Inspection Report Reveals Major Flaws at CIMS Hospital

Bilaspur, July 8, 2026 – The High Court of Chhattisgarh cited a detailed inspection report presented by the court commissioner earlier this year, exposing grave deficiencies at the Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS). The report highlighted persistent roof leaks, extensive water accumulation in several wards and corridors, and a fire-fighting system that has been inactive for an extended period, raising serious safety concerns.

During the hearing, the Chief Justice emphasized that such conditions cannot be concealed by repetitive or glossy affidavits. He instructed the state government and hospital management to provide accurate data and warned against any efforts to mislead the court.
