Infrastructure Gains New Momentum in Sarangadh-Bilaigarh
Raipur / Revenue and Higher Education Minister Shri Tanka Ram Verma, during his visit to Sarangadh, gave the district several important development works in the fields of health, higher education, and veterinary services. He inaugurated various departmental buildings constructed at a cost of more than approximately 1.24 crore rupees, strengthening basic facilities and infrastructure in the district headquarters.
Inauguration of Various Departmental Buildings
Minister Tanka Ram Verma today inaugurated key construction works, including the district office building for the veterinary department built at a cost of 74 lakh 59 thousand rupees, an additional room for CGMSC prepared for the health department at a cost of 50 lakh rupees, the BPHU building, and the medicine ward of the district hospital, along with an additional room constructed from public participation funds at the Government Lochan Prasad Pandey Postgraduate College. Along with the inauguration ceremony, Minister Shri Verma also participated in activities related to sports and environmental conservation in the region. He inaugurated the Officers Club.
Afforestation and Seed Ball Campaign
Along with planting saplings on the premises, Minister Shri Verma participated in a large-scale environmental program organized in village Chhuhipali and carried out afforestation using seed balls. He inspected the composite building of the district office and reviewed the arrangements. After this, he distributed ownership documents to farmer beneficiaries under the Swamitva Yojana in the mandi premises.
On this occasion, MLA Uttari Jangde, District Panchayat President Sanjay Bhushan Pandey, Vice President Ajay Nayak, members, former MLA Kerabai Manhar, along with senior officials and public representatives were present.
