Farmer Hadhma Ram Mirkam, operating on roughly 32 acres in Sukma’s Ranibahal village, illustrates the benefits of coordinated government support. Through the Chindgarh Cooperative Society he received a subsidised credit line of Rs 3,50,000, which he immediately used to purchase certified seeds and fertilizer.

The timely loan and input delivery, orchestrated by the district administration under Collector Amit Kumar, eliminated the farmer’s financial anxiety and allowed him to commence Kharif sowing without any postponement. Mirkam praised the state’s and district’s efforts, noting that the absence of delays and fair market pricing directly contribute to better crop outcomes.

Administrative oversight continues to monitor input pricing, restricting illegal hoarding and middle‑man profiteering. Regular inspections by joint police‑admin teams safeguard the supply chain, ensuring that farmers receive quality inputs at appropriate rates, thereby bolstering confidence in upcoming harvests.
