Chief Minister Mr. Sai Had Cordial Interaction with Panchayat Representatives of Sukma District
Raipur, January 6, 2026/Representatives of remote village panchayats of Sukma district, who are on a capital tour under the Hamar Chhattisgarh Jan Bhraman Yojana, called on Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan, Raipur today. Chief Minister Mr. Sai interacted cordially with the panchayat representatives and inquired about their well-being.
Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that ensuring the all-round development of the Bastar region is the top priority of the state government. He said that the state government is continuously working to provide basic facilities like education, health, roads, electricity, and drinking water to every village in Bastar.
During his discussion with the representatives, he said that the state government is carrying out development works at a rapid pace in the Bastar region as well. The Chief Minister said that security forces’ camps are being established in remote areas, which is providing both security and speed to the development works.
Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that government ration shops have now been established in most villages, and the benefits of various public welfare schemes are effectively reaching the common citizens. He said that in the near future, the Bastar region will be completely free of Naxalites.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously striving towards the goal of self-reliant Bastar. With this objective, opportunities for capital tours are being provided to the representatives of the Bastar region so that they can be inspired by observing the development works here and promote all-round development in their respective areas.
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma and concerned officials were present on this occasion.
It is noteworthy that about 100 panchayat representatives from various remote village panchayats of Sukma district have come on a two-day tour of the capital Raipur under the Hamar Chhattisgarh Jan Bhraman Yojana. During the tour, the representatives were shown important places such as the Mantralaya, Jungle Safari, Tribal Museum, Railway Station, Airport, and Shopping Mall.
