Government Adjusts Exam Calendar to Safeguard Youth Opportunities in Chhattisgarh
The Chhattisgarh government has re‑ordered its examination timetable to protect the interests of young job‑seekers, announced Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai on August 10, 2026. The main test for the Sub‑Divisional Officer, Sub‑Inspector and Platoon Commander cadre, earlier planned for 24‑26 October, will now be held on 2‑4 November 2026. This alteration prevents a direct clash with the teacher recruitment examination that is set for 25 October 2026. The Chief Minister emphasized that the administration will not allow scheduling oversights to hinder any qualified candidate’s chance to compete for a government post. He instructed the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission to issue separate online application notices for the rescheduled police main exam and to keep the official portal updated with all relevant information. The state wishes all candidates the very best in their preparations and forthcoming examinations.
