In a poignant ceremony at a site where security personnel had previously made the ultimate sacrifice, Home Minister Amit Shah launched a visionary project to redefine the landscape of Bastar. By turning security outposts into 'Seva Camps,' the government is pivoting from military operations to social empowerment. Shah reflected on the dark history of the region, recalling the days when IED blasts and Naxalite violence disrupted the lives and education of children. He noted that the neutralization of terror groups by security forces has finally paved the way for sustainable peace and administrative expansion. A key highlight of this new vision is the economic upliftment of tribal families. The Home Minister announced the implementation of a national dairy model in collaboration with the National Dairy Development Board. Under this scheme, tribal women will be provided with cattle to foster a local dairy economy. Furthermore, the government is focusing on the packaging, branding, and global marketing of forest produce through national cooperatives. This holistic approach aims to generate employment and ensure that the natural wealth of Bastar directly benefits its indigenous inhabitants.
