Free Plantlings and Guaranteed Purchase Scheme Launched for Farmers

The Medicinal Plant Board’s chief executive J.A.C.S. Rao announced that beneficiaries will receive free saplings of the approved species. In addition, a purchase‑back arrangement has been set up so that the board will buy the harvested produce at a pre‑declared price. This dual support removes the market‑access barrier that often discourages growers from adopting new crops.
