Four Accused Charged After Violent Attack on IPS Officer’s Child

Following a complaint by Lekhansh Kant Kure, the Kotwali police in Ambikapur filed charges against four identified youths: Golu Ganesh, Ratan Gupta, Koya Don, and Ashutosh Gupta. The accused allegedly surrounded Kure near the Bauripara pond and launched a coordinated assault using a belt and a chain. The victim, who is the son of IPS officer Ravi Kure, sustained injuries to his scalp and facial region. Authorities noted that the perpetrators taunted the victim regarding his father’s position during the attack.
