The state administration of Chhattisgarh, under the leadership of CM Vishnu Dev Sahay, has sanctioned a relief package of Rs 4 lakh for each of the 16 families who lost members in water‑related accidents across Jashpur district. The total sum of Rs 64 lakh has been approved according to the Revenue Book Circular (RBC) 6‑4 guidelines.
Affected households from villages such as Bemtatoli, Bahmanpur, Singibahar, Konpara, Patia, Remne, Litim, Dardagav, Tapkara and Patthalgav are now eligible for the grant. The district revenue department will process the applications and release the money after confirming the claimant’s eligibility.
