Fertilizer and seeds are being distributed regularly in cooperative societies

Farmers Chovaram and Beniram appreciated the arrangement for distribution of fertilizer and seeds Raipur, May 29, 2026 Under the arrangements made by the Central and State Governments to ensure the availability of fertilizer and seeds in adequate quantities to the farmers for the Kharif year 2026, fertilizer and seeds are being regularly distributed to the farmers of the district in the cooperative societies of Balod district. As per the instructions of Collector Smt. Divya Umesh Mishra, robust arrangements have been ensured in all cooperative societies of the district for the storage and distribution of fertilizer and seeds in adequate quantities to the farmers on the basis of the guidelines issued by the government. The farmers of the district have also appreciated the arrangements made for the proper distribution of fertilizer and seeds in Balod district. Regarding the availability of fertilizer and seeds in adequate quantities for the upcoming Kharif season, farmer Shri Chovaram, a resident of village Phagundah, Gurur development block, and Shri Beniram Sahu, a resident of village Pendarwani, appreciated the arrangements and described them as beneficial for the farmers. Farmer Shri Chovaram, who appeared very happy to receive fertilizer and seeds on time, said that he is a small farmer with a total of 02 acres of land. Shri Chovaram said that a week ago, he reached the cooperative society in his village Phagundah and received two bottles of Nano DAP, one bottle of Urea, as well as two bags of Urea and one bag of Superphosphate fertilizer. He said that due to the better arrangements made in the cooperative societies, he did not face any inconvenience in obtaining fertilizer and seeds. Similarly, farmer Shri Beniram of village Pendarwani, Gurur development block, also appreciated the arrangement for the distribution of fertilizer and seeds in the district. Farmer Shri Beniram said that he is a large farmer with a total of 20 acres of land. Farmer Beniram said that upon reaching the cooperative society in village Pendarwani, he received 05 bags of Swarna and Swarna sub-1, and other paddy seeds as per demand. He and other farmers did not face any inconvenience in obtaining paddy seeds from the cooperative society. This has made us all farmers happy and hopeful of receiving fertilizer and seeds on time in the future as well.
