Hakimuddin Nasir, Mahasamund. In the name of skill development in the district, the forgery of appointment of e-India (NGO) teachers in schools has come to light. Teachers were taken over in schools. The education department did not allow the government to see it. The fake was revealed when a headmaster informed the joint director education about the office of a teacher. In this case, the Joint Director has issued a show cause notice to the District Education Officer and summoned the reply. In this case, Akaltara MLA Raghavendra Kumar Singh also raised, in which the department has given information about 6 teachers instead of 7 in the assembly. The information of a teacher was hidden.
R -India Skill Technology Services Pvt. Ltd. In 2024, students of 9th to 12th were written to the Education Department for permission for skill development courses, sports and health etc. The then Deo Mita Mukherjee, while in connivance with NGO, did not think it appropriate to see whether the NGO is registered with the education department or not taken its approval from the state government. Meanwhile, Deo Mita Mukherjee was transferred and Deo Mohan Rao Sawant joined her on 14 March 2024. Deo Sawant issued an order to provide free education to teachers from primary school to higher secondary schools on 3 January 2025 without registration and departmental permission.
R -India sent a letter to Yogeshwari Baghel to join Yogeshwari Baghel on 13 December 2024. On 21 December 2024, Yogeshwari Baghel directly reached Tusda Higher Secondary School and Principal Mahendra Markam accepted the order of Deo and took charge on the lines of government departments. A copy of this joining sent the Director Public Education Directorate Raipur, Divisional Complex Director Pension Bada, Collector Mahasamund, District Education Officer and Yogeshwari Baghel.
On 15 January 2025, the DEO sent a departmental letter to all the principals and heads of R -India or ordered the free teaching work from India. He also said that such teachers should not be written in the attendance register nor should any experience certificate be given in the attendance register. Just 2 days before this i.e. on 14 January 2025, Divisional Joint Director Education Division Raipur issued a show cause notice to DEO Mohan Rao Sawant, in which he was asked to appear with the principal of Tussauds and clarify.
Order to cancel the permission given for R-India
The Joint Director told the DEO whether permission was taken from the government or the Directorate before allowing R -India. The Joint Director also said in the notice that if the permission mentioned has not been given by your (DEO), then the principal of the government schools of your district is taking charge to the candidates based on the appointment letter issued by the said institution. As soon as this forgery was revealed, the Deo sent a letter to all the development block education officers on 17 January 2025 or ordered the cancellation of the permission given for R-India.
Akaltara MLA raised the case in the assembly
Regarding this matter, Akaltara MLA Raghavendra Kumar Singh raised the question of appointment of teachers without the permission of state government in the name of skill development in the assembly. On this, in the information given by the DEO to the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, it was said to be registered for 7 NGOs except R-India. Apart from this, the appointment of 6 teachers in the name of skill development was informed about cancellation of the appointment on 17 January 2025, but the DEO misled everyone by giving information about 6 teachers to the assembly, while 7 teachers were appointed in the district. Among them, the information of female teacher Yogeshwari Baghel was hidden, which was taken charge.
