Excellent performance on the Service Setu portal: Nirdosh Lakda of Balrampur becomes the state's top transaction VLE. Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary honored him for successfully resolving 13,912 applications, setting a record. Raipur, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the state is continuously undertaking remarkable work to deliver government services to the public through the Service Setu portal in a simple, transparent and timely manner. In this context, VLE (Village Level Entrepreneur) Shri Nirdosh Lakda, working at the Service Setu centre in Balrampur-Ramanuganj district, achieved outstanding performance in the year 2025-26 and earned the distinction of being the top transaction VLE of the state. At a state-level program held in Raipur, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary presented a certificate of appreciation to Shri Nirdosh Lakda. This honor recognizes his excellent contribution in delivering quality and timely services to citizens through the Service Setu portal. During 2025-26, Shri Nirdosh Lakda successfully resolved 13,912 applications via the portal. This achievement not only brought pride to Balrampur-Ramanuganj district but also set a new benchmark for digital good governance in the state. Effective operation of the Service Setu portal in the district now means rural citizens no longer have to repeatedly travel to the district headquarters for services such as income, caste, residence, birth and death certificates and many other government services. Services are now available locally, easily, transparently and within the stipulated time frame. Shri Lakda has ensured the reach of government schemes and services to thousands of rural families through effective use of technology, dedication to work and a spirit of public service. His service centre has become not just a facility centre but a reliable solution for villagers. After receiving the honor, Shri Nirdosh Lakda said his aim is not only to make government services available but also to make every citizen’s life easier through technology. He added that when people's time and resources are saved and they receive services without any hassle, the goal of Digital India and good governance is realized. The effective implementation of the Service Setu portal in Balrampur district has emerged as a successful example of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai’s vision for good governance and expansion of digital services on the ground.
