Every house proudly waves the tricolor – Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma. Resonant patriotic slogans echo in Sarangadh. Under the leadership of Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, a grand tricolor procession took place. Raipur – Citizens are participating enthusiastically in the tricolor rally to spread the spirit of patriotism to every person and strengthen public awareness of cleanliness. Under the leadership of Higher Education Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, a magnificent tricolor journey was organized today in Sarangadh. The journey began with prayers to Mother India and passed through Bharat Mata Chowk, Nanda Chowk and the ATAL complex before reaching Rani Laxmi Bai Complex where it concluded. During the journey, the city was bathed in patriotic colours as thousands of school children shouted the powerful slogans "Jai Bharat Mata" and "Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan". At the closing of the tricolor journey, Higher Education Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma urged citizens to wave the tricolor with pride from their homes. He said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, tricolor events are being organized across the country. The tricolor is our national pride, for which countless patriots have sacrificed everything. Its wheel symbolizes the continual progress of our nation and states. When it comes to the tricolor, we rise above caste, creed and religion and become united. He paid tribute to immortal martyrs such as Rani of Jhansi, Mangal Pandey and Bhagat Singh and inspired people to follow in their footsteps. The program was attended by the District Panchayat President and Vice‑President, former MLA Mrs. Kerabai Manhar, ex‑servicemen, representatives, the collector, the police superintendent, distinguished citizens and a large number of school children.
