Ensuring Quality, Safety and Efficacy of AYUSH Medicines – AYUSH Security Portal

Ayush Security Portal is a significant initiative to ensure the quality, safety and efficacy of AYUSH medicines. The portal will record quality-related complaints or information about misleading and objectionable advertisements. Developed by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, the portal provides a transparent and accessible digital platform for monitoring adverse effects of AYUSH medicines, acknowledging complaints related to medicine quality, and reporting misleading or objectionable advertisements. Through the portal, AYUSH doctors, health workers, and the general public can online register any adverse drug reaction, quality-related complaint, or misleading advertisement after using AYUSH medicines. Based on the information received, the concerned authorities will conduct necessary testing and take action as per regulations. The AYUSH department of the Chhattisgarh government urges all citizens and stakeholders associated with the AYUSH sector to register any adverse effect, quality complaint, or misleading and objectionable advertisement on the Ayush Security Portal. This initiative will promote safe and quality use of AYUSH medicines and further strengthen public confidence in AYUSH medical systems.
