Education Department Declares Zero Tolerance for Misconduct in School Premises

In an official statement, the Chhattisgarh Education Department emphasized that government educators are expected to uphold the highest moral standards, discipline and serve as role models for students. The department warned that any future incident of a similar nature will invoke a "zero tolerance" policy, leaving no room for leniency or oversight.

"A school is a sanctified space; such behaviour tarnishes the dignity of the education system and sends a harmful message to innocent children and the wider society," the statement read.

The department also reiterated its commitment to monitoring staff conduct more rigorously, pledging regular audits and surprise inspections across the state.
