Education combined with values is the foundation of a prosperous Chhattisgarh - Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma An amount of 3 crore rupees has been approved for the construction of additional classrooms in 11 schools of the Baloda Bazar Assembly constituency Raipur Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma said that the inclusion of values with education is the true foundation of a prosperous and developed Chhattisgarh The government of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai is giving the highest priority to quality modern and value-based education in the state so that the coming generation can become responsible citizens by connecting with their culture In state schools prayers Saraswati Vandana and verses have been included in classrooms to link students with Indian knowledge tradition moral values and discipline He approved the amount of 3 crore rupees for the construction of additional classrooms in 11 schools of the Baloda Bazar Assembly constituency A school admission festival at the government BNB Higher Secondary School in Tilda development block of Raipur district was held in an enthusiastic atmosphere The chief guest was Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma along with regional representatives district panchayat members and education department officials On this occasion students were encouraged to pursue quality education the National Education Policy 2020 and moral values to progress in life Determination leads to achievement Referring to the thoughts of former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Minister Verma said that dreams are not those we see while sleeping dreams are those that do not let us sleep The foundation of success rests on big dreams and firm resolve Just as a parent envisions a bright future for his children a teacher envisions the excellence of his school and a representative envisions the development of his area students must also set high goals and work continuously Quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve for achievement he appealed to students to keep striving Perspective changes the direction of life In the program the message of Swami Vivekananda ‘Rise awaken and do not stop until the goal is achieved’ was reminded to the students infusing them with boundless energy and a positive outlook Through an inspiring anecdote Minister Verma explained that people performing the same work can have different perspectives For example among three workers building a dam the positive‑thinking worker saw his work as serving public welfare and prosperity similarly students must define the purpose of their studies When perspective is clear achievement becomes certain New Education Policy 2020 integration of Indian knowledge tradition and values Minister Verma said that the Vishnu Dev Sai government is taking steps for the comprehensive development of education Under the National Education Policy 2020 education in the state has been linked with modern technology as well as Indian knowledge tradition Vedas scriptures Ramayana and our rich cultural heritage Education is becoming a means not only for textbook knowledge but also for developing moral values humility discipline and respect for parents and elders in children Approval of 3 crore rupees to make Baloda Bazar schools model institutions On regional infrastructure development Minister Verma said that the schools of the Baloda Bazar Assembly constituency are being developed as fully equipped model schools An amount of 3 crore rupees has been approved for the construction of additional classrooms in the 11 schools Basic facilities such as boundary walls toilets pure drinking water electricity and seating arrangements are being completed on a priority basis Approval has also been given for the construction of a modern and grand auditorium in the BNB Higher Secondary School campus for the cultural and intellectual development of students By 2047 Chhattisgarh will become the most prosperous and powerful state in the country In the program the Revenue Minister said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai the state government is fully committed to welfare schemes such as Mata Vandan Yojana and Farmer Upliftment Scheme as well as infrastructural development When India becomes a developed nation by 2047 our Chhattisgarh will also emerge as the most prosperous and powerful state in the country At the inauguration of the new academic session all students were welcomed with tilak and sweets and were given best wishes for a bright future.
