Drug distribution to health centers is done only after quality testing through a process based on standards Raipur, June 09, 2026/ According to information received from CGMSC, the firm Unicure India Ltd. has provided information to Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation Limited on May 18, 2026. According to this, the firm has been blacklisted by Madhya Pradesh Public Health Services Corporation Limited Bhopal on May 08, 2026, due to the result of 3 batches of the drug Lactulose Solution IP 10 gm/15 ml -100 ml bottle being declared substandard by government laboratories. As a result of the product blacklisting of one batch of the said drug by Madhya Pradesh Public Health Services Corporation Limited Bhopal earlier, the rate contract for the drug Lactulose Solution IP 10 gm/15 ml -100 ml bottle was blocked by Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation Limited as per tender rules, and action was taken to cancel the related purchase orders. The blacklisting order attached with the information sent by firm Unicure India Ltd. also mentions that the said order will not be applicable to previously purchased or already issued purchase orders, provided they conform to quality standards. The drugs supplied by the said firm have been distributed after obtaining standard quality reports from CGMSC's contracted NABL laboratories. The information sent by firm Unicure India Ltd. also mentions that they have filed a case before the Hon'ble High Court, Madhya Pradesh, Principal Bench, Jabalpur, the hearing of which is scheduled for June 10, 2026. Further action in Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation Limited will be ensured subject to the orders passed by the Hon'ble High Court, M.P. in the said case. After receiving the information of the blacklisting order, no new rate contract and new purchase order has been issued to the said firm, which is a process focused on quality and based on drug regulatory standards of Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation Limited. Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation Limited once again clarifies that the process of drug procurement and supply is fully based on quality standards. The corporation reiterates that medicines are distributed to health centers only after quality testing under a valid and standards-based process before distribution for public consumption.
