Meritorious students from rural areas of Surguja met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai
Chief Minister had an intimate conversation with the students, saying - Success is not limited to becoming a doctor-engineer; there are opportunities to advance in every field.
Students visited prestigious institutions including IIM and IIIT.
Raipur / Meritorious students from the rural areas of Surguja district, who were on an educational tour, paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at his official residence this evening. Chief Minister Shri Sai had an intimate conversation with about 50 students from seven government schools in the Ambikapur region, learning about their experiences, interests, and future dreams. Encouraging the students, the Chief Minister inspired them to set big goals in life and pursue them with full dedication, discipline, and hard work.
Chief Minister Shri Sai told the students that student life is the most crucial time to build a strong foundation for the future. The dreams seen during this phase and the hard work put in to achieve them determine the direction of life. He said that students should always dream big and strive with full dedication to realize those dreams. With hard work, discipline, and dedication towards the goal, any milestone in life can be achieved.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that success is not just about becoming a doctor or an engineer. Today, there are immense opportunities for youth in every field, including education, science, research, sports, technology, administration, and entrepreneurship. Every student has their own talent and interest. The need is to recognize their potential, choose the right goal, and pursue it with full commitment. He also shared inspiring anecdotes of various talented individuals and achievers from the state with the students.
Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that after the formation of Chhattisgarh state, there has been continuous expansion in the field of education in the state. Today, many prestigious national-level higher education institutions are established in Chhattisgarh, where the youth of the state are getting opportunities for quality higher and technical education. He said that the state government is making efforts to provide quality education, guidance, and equal opportunities for advancement to students from rural and remote areas. Such educational tours generate new curiosity in the minds of children and expand their dreams.
Chief Minister Shri Sai appreciated this educational tour organized for students from rural areas. He said that this initiative to introduce children from rural areas to prestigious educational institutions and make them aware of future possibilities is commendable. He extended his best wishes to all students for a bright future and inspired them to study diligently and bring laurels to their parents, school, and the state.
Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu, addressing the students, said that student life is the foundation of a person's entire life. Just as the foundation of a strong building must be strong, discipline, hard work, and optimal use of time are essential during student life for a bright future. He called upon the students to utilize this important time to identify their goals, gain knowledge, and build their personality.
Students from Government Higher Secondary Schools Kankala, Bakirma, Sukhri, Rampur, Mendrakala, and Karji, as well as Government CGES Keshavpur, participated in the educational tour.
During the tour, students visited and observed various key institutions and sites, including the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Tribal Museum, and Chhattisgarh State Youth Commission office in Naya Raipur. Students gathered information about the academic activities, study opportunities, and future prospects of these institutions. The experience of closely observing the prominent institutions in the capital and Naya Raipur was encouraging for the students.
On this occasion, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Youth Commission Shri Vishwvijay Singh Tomar, Zila Panchayat member Smt. Payal Singh Tomar, along with teachers and a large number of students, were present.
