DGCA Orders Probe Following Alliance Air Flight Engine Trouble en Route to Delhi

Following the emergency landing of Alliance Air’s Bilaspur‑Delhi service, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced a formal investigation into the cause of the engine failure. Investigators will examine maintenance records, engine performance data and pilot reports to determine why the left engine ceased operation.

The DGCA statement emphasized that passenger safety remains the top priority and that any systemic issues will be addressed to prevent recurrence. Meanwhile, the airline has pledged full cooperation with authorities and assured the public that the aircraft will undergo comprehensive checks before returning to service.
