Development work in Raigad will not be delayed, all construction work to be completed within the time limit with quality: Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary

Finance Minister inspected Canal Link Road, Boirdadar Stadium, Marine Drive, beautification of ponds and Oxyzone

Instructions to speed up the construction of Olympic standard swimming pool, synthetic athletic track and skating rink

Raipur, Finance Minister and Raigad MLA Shri O.P. Chaudhary on Monday conducted a thorough inspection of various development and construction works being carried out in Raigad city with the aim of making it modern, well-organized and equipped with better civic amenities. He gave clear instructions to the officials that all projects should be completed with high quality within the stipulated time limit. There should be no unnecessary delay in construction work and priority should be given to the needs and future requirements of the citizens in every project.

Finance Minister Shri Chaudhary inspected the under-construction Canal Link Road in Jogdipa, the swimming pool and athletic track at Boirdadar Stadium, the Pragati Nagar Marine Drive, the beautification of Patahmuda and Mitthumuda ponds, and the Oxyzone being developed in the Kisan Rice Mill complex. He took information from the concerned officials about the progress of the projects, the quality of construction, and the completion deadline. During this, he said that regular inspection of development works is essential to assess progress at the ground level and make necessary improvements in accordance with the suggestions of the citizens.

City's connectivity will be strengthened by Canal Link Road, traffic will get relief

Finance Minister Shri Chaudhary, while inspecting the under-construction Canal Link Road in Jogdipa, instructed the officials to expedite the work. This important road will connect Kevdabadi Bus Stand to New and Old Marine Drive Road. Its construction will facilitate movement between different parts of the city and help improve traffic management. He directed to complete demarcation and other necessary processes related to road construction expeditiously and ensure better coordination in road construction and beautification works.

Modern sports facilities will be developed at Boirdadar Stadium

The Finance Minister inspected the under-construction Olympic standard swimming pool, synthetic athletic track, and skating rink at Boirdadar Stadium. He gave instructions to speed up the construction work by giving these projects the highest priority. He also asked to remove the debris accumulated on the athletic track and keep the premises organized.

Shri Chaudhary said that providing better training and modern sports facilities to the players of Raigad is a priority. The development of sports infrastructure should be done keeping in mind the actual needs of the players. He emphasized paying attention to the problems and suggestions of the players and also on the development of facilities like an open gym in the stadium complex.

Patahmuda and Mitthumuda ponds will become attractive public places

The Finance Minister also inspected the beautification works being carried out to make the city's ponds clean, beautiful, and useful for citizens. Pathways, gardens, open gyms, seating areas, fountains, and attractive lighting systems are being developed in the Patahmuda pond complex. Upon completion of these facilities, citizens will have a better public space for morning and evening walks, exercise, and recreation.

Similarly, entrance gates, parking, parks, pathways, open gyms, and other civic amenities are being developed in the Mitthumuda pond complex. The Finance Minister directed to complete the beautification of the ponds as a comprehensive development project. He asked to take special precautions to prevent problems like seepage in construction work. During this, he interacted with local citizens and listened to their problems and suggestions. On the demand of the citizens in Mitthumuda, he spoke of providing financial assistance of Rs 1,50,000 for the construction of a temple.

Oxyzone is being developed in Kisan Rice Mill complex, citizens will get a green and healthy environment

Finance Minister Shri Chaudhary reviewed the progress of development works being carried out at Pragati Nagar Marine Drive. After this, he inspected the Oxyzone being developed in the Kisan Rice Mill complex. Various facilities including open gym, pathways, and yoga centers are being developed here for the citizens. He said that expanding green areas and developing facilities that encourage a healthy lifestyle in the city is extremely essential. Places like Oxyzone will provide citizens with a clean environment and will also be useful for health and recreation.

Raigad will play an important role in building a developed Chhattisgarh: Finance Minister Shri Chaudhary

During the inspection, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary said that regular review and site inspection of development works in Raigad are among his priorities. Whenever he is in Raigad, he tries to understand the actual status of development works by inspecting them along with public representatives and administrative officials. This provides information about the progress of construction work as well as the expectations of the citizens and necessary improvements.

He said that Raigad has been making a significant contribution to Chhattisgarh in terms of revenue for a long time. Our endeavor is that in the coming times, Raigad should also create a new identity in the fields of education, sports, infrastructure, environmental protection, and modern civic amenities. During the inspection, Mayor Shri Jivardhan Chauhan, Chairman Shri Degree Lal Sahu, Collector Shri Mayank Chaturvedi, along with local public representatives, councilors, dignitaries, and officials from the Municipal Corporation and concerned departments were present.
