Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw reviews the detailed preparations of the Seva Sankalp Campaign

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw conducted an in‑depth review of the preparations for the Seva Sankalp Campaign. He emphasized that all departments must actively participate to make the campaign successful. The meeting, attended by Food and Civil Supply Minister Dayal Das Baghle, MLAs Deepesh Sahu and Ishwar Sahu, discussed the planned activities across the district. He stated that the Seva Sankalp Campaign is not merely a formal event but a commitment to make governance more sensitive, accountable and service‑oriented towards the people, and instructed that all activities be given top priority. He announced a Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra across the four development blocks of Bemetara, Berla, Navagarh and Saja, which will travel through each gram panchayat spreading messages of service, dedication and nation‑building, highlighting cleanliness, public service and good governance. He directed authorities to ensure proper route planning, security and public participation, and to arrange a successful conclusion of the Yatra at the district headquarters, along with listening to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to the nation. Under the theme “Service’s Colour, With the Nation”, a special rangoli event showcasing the campaign’s objectives will be organized in urban bodies, panchayats and villages, involving women self‑help groups, school girls and Anganwadi workers to spread the service message through art. Emphasizing women’s participation in the “Angan Milan Service”, he instructed the Women and Child Development Department to celebrate the program in Anganwadi centres, ensuring full attendance of pregnant women, mothers of infants and adolescent girls, along with health check‑ups, nutrition counseling and information on government schemes. He also mandated compulsory sports periods in schools for holistic child development, stating that mere textbook knowledge is insufficient. He praised Bemetara’s innovative legacy and affirmed that the district will set an example in the successful execution of the Seva Sankalp Campaign. The meeting was also attended by District Panchayat Chairperson Mrs. Kalpana Yogesh Tiwari, Chhattisgarh Rajkargar Board Chairman Mr. Prahlad Rajk, Panchayat heads Jitendra Sahu, Madhuri Parganihā, Hema Divakar, Additional Collector Mr. Prakash Bhardwaj and District Panchayat CEO Ms. Premlata Padmakar.
