Raipur / Waving tricolor in hands, chants of Bharat Mata ki Jai, patriotic songs, and the enthusiasm of thousands of citizens filled with national love - the capital Raipur was completely drenched in the colors of the tricolor today. Thousands of citizens united under the national flag in the grand Tiranga Yatra that started from Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium to Subhash Stadium.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai himself held the tricolor and walked step by step with the crowd. The enthusiasm of youth, women, children, elderly, ex-servicemen, and people from various social classes was remarkable in the yatra. The nearly one-kilometer-long tricolor held by school students was a special attraction of the entire event.

From the beginning to the end of the Tiranga Yatra, an amazing atmosphere of patriotism was visible in the capital. Thousands of national flags waving simultaneously in thousands of hands and chants of Bharat Mata ki Jai filled the entire route with the spirit of national love. Chief Minister Shri Sai also walked ahead with the tricolor among the citizens. During this, there was special enthusiasm among the citizens to walk with the Chief Minister and be a part of this yatra organized in honor of the national flag.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the tricolor is our pride, honor, and glory. It is not just our national flag, but a symbol of India's unity, integrity, self-respect, and countless sacrifices. The tricolor has the amazing power to unite 140 crore Indians of the country. Despite the diversity of different languages, cultures, traditions, and regions, the tricolor connects us all with the shared pride of being Indian.

The Chief Minister said that when the tricolor flutters, a natural sense of pride and respect for the nation awakens in the heart of every Indian. Our national flag is a witness to the struggle of the freedom movement, the sacrifices of freedom fighters, and India's journey as a strong nation. The tricolor reminds us of our rights as well as our duties towards the nation.

He said that under the call of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign has today taken the form of a widespread public campaign. This campaign has strengthened the spirit of patriotism and national pride by taking the tricolor to every home. The Chief Minister called upon the people of the state to unfurl the tricolor with full respect and pride in their homes on the occasion of Independence Day and to make this festival of national unity even grander by joining the Tiranga Yatras.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the independent India in which we live today with pride and respect was not achieved easily. Behind it lies the struggle, sacrifice, penance, and martyrdom of lakhs of countrymen. Countless brave sons of the country have sacrificed their all to free the motherland from the shackles of slavery.

He said that people from every region and society contributed to the freedom movement. Some dedicated their lives, some left their homes and families, and many brave ones sacrificed their lives smiling for the motherland. It is because of these sacrifices that we are able to experience the glory of freedom and democracy today.

The Chief Minister said that today's new generation is born and growing up in independent India. Therefore, it is essential for them to know how precious freedom is and how hard our ancestors struggled for it. Only by becoming familiar with the glorious tales of freedom fighters can the new generation understand the true value of freedom.

He said that the tricolor reminds us of the sacrifices of all those known and unknown soldiers who dedicated their all for the nation. It is our collective responsibility to convey this glorious heritage of freedom to the new generation. This will further strengthen the spirit of duty, dedication, service, and 'Nation First' among the youth.

*Brave Sons of Chhattisgarh Wrote Tales of Valor in the Freedom Struggle*

Recalling the great heroes of Chhattisgarh's freedom struggle, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the land of Chhattisgarh has also been a land of heroes, जननायकों, and martyrs. In the struggle for the country's freedom, many brave sons of Chhattisgarh displayed immense courage and self-respect.

Recalling Martyr Veer Narayan Singh, the Chief Minister said that he raised his voice for the welfare of the poor and needy in difficult circumstances and struggled against the injustice of the British rule. His life tells us that along with national love, public service and the courage to stand against injustice are also forms of true patriotism.

Recalling the tale of valor of the great जननायक of Bastar, Gundadhur, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that he mobilized the tribal society against foreign rule and sounded the bugle of struggle. The land of Bastar has always struggled for the protection of its self-respect, culture, and rights. Gundadhur's courage and leadership are still a subject of pride and inspiration for the people of Chhattisgarh.

He said that the struggle of many known and unknown soldiers of Chhattisgarh, including Martyr Veer Narayan Singh and Gundadhur, is an integral part of our glorious history. It is our duty to convey the tales of valor of these great heroes to the new generation and to make the youth familiar with their ideals.

*Tricolor Will Flutter with Peace and Development in Changing Bastar*

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Bastar is today leaving behind a long period of violence and fear and is rapidly moving forward in a new direction of peace, trust, and development. With the strong will of the double-engine government, the indomitable courage of the security forces, and the cooperation of the local residents, the fight against Naxalism has reached a decisive stage.

He said that in those areas of Bastar where there was an atmosphere of fear due to Naxal violence, new light of development is now reaching. With the expansion of roads, education, health, and other basic facilities, people's faith in governance and the democratic system has strengthened. The government is continuously working to connect the aspirations and dreams of the people of Bastar with the mainstream of development.

The Chief Minister said that the identity of changing Bastar is now being shaped not by violence, but by peace, development, trust, and new possibilities. This year, the holy festival of Independence Day will also be celebrated with full enthusiasm and joy in Bastar, and Tiranga Yatras will be organized. The tricolor will also flutter with full pride in the villages and remote areas of Bastar.

The enthusiasm of school students was a special center of attraction in the Tiranga Yatra. The students held the nearly one-kilometer-long tricolor in their hands and marched in disciplined rows. Roop Kumari Chaudhary, MLAs Shri Rajesh Munat, Shri Sunil Soni, Shri Anuj Sharma, Shri Inder Kumar Sahu, Shri Motilal Sahu, Shri Purandar Mishra, Mayor Smt. Meenal Choubey, Chairpersons of Corporations, Boards, and Commissions, along with public representatives, officials, ex-servicemen, students, and a large number of citizens.
